Antiseptics and Disinfectants
Breedx offers a comprehensive line of antiseptics and disinfectants
for bovine use. Topical antiseptics include hydrogen peroxide and
isopropy lalcohol, which are both used for cleaning minor cuts and
abrasions. Chlorhexidine is an antimicrobial disinfectant that
rapidly defends against a wide range of microorganisms including
both gram negative and gram positive bacteria. Disinfectants such as povidone iodine, betadine and potassium peroxymonosulfate are effective in destroying a wide range of pathogens harmful to cattle such as viruses, bacteria and fungi and are useful both prior to and following surgical procedures.
